On July 12th, 2014, I said ‘yes‘ to this amazing man Robin Clediere. He is my soulmate (and so much more…) from the start and we clearly belong together. We have fun, we design, we play softball & basketball, we laugh (a lot), we love beers & burgers, we are perfect for each other.
He is my design & life partner and I just can‘t wait to start a whole new adventure in San Francisco in September. A lot of challenges are waiting for us, but I‘m ready to face them as long as he is by my side. I love him with all my heart, he deserves the best and I‘m so proud to be his wife forever.
I just want to share a bit of this day with you.
It was a small wedding (about 20 people) but we really wanted it to reflect our personality. The advantage of being a couple of designers is that we could create our own identity. Once we had the logo, all the ideas came along the way! We ordered stamps and kraft boxes to express our creativity.
Instead of classic sweets, we decided to make some homemade cookies and we added some little bottles of lemon syrup.
We also made letterpress wedding cards and a menu for the guests.
It was really fun to cook with my future husband (even if it was like 1AM when we finished filling the boxes).
Sweet, simple & bucolic…
We wanted to cook as many things as possible. My husband loves burgers, so we made our own bread. It was stressful but really fun. For my part, I love cooking desserts so I’ve made some sweets (lemon pies, chocolate bites and light clouds of foam). Everyone enjoyed it!
My husband prepared a big surprise for me. I love beer, but I’m a big fan of Blue Moon…but we don’t have this one in France. So he imported some bottles and put them on the table when I was not around. I was so happy!!
I love you Robin you know me so well. ;)
Thanks for coming everyone. You’re the best!
We love photography, and especially Polaroid. So we decided to take pictures of our guests all day long and then we set a book with their photo on pages so they could write some words around it. Everyone loved the idea :)
Happily ever after…Next step: San Francisco!
